This Technical Data may be processed for the purposes of developing internal search algorithms, training machine learning models, and creating anonymized datasets for commercial licensing. The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in improving our platform’s technology and developing new business features.
Please do not supply any other person’s personal data to us, unless we prompt you to do so.
2. Disclosing personal information
We may disclose your personal information to the following:
(a) Any member of our group of companies (this means our subsidiaries, our ultimate holding company and all its subsidiaries) insofar as reasonably necessary for the purposes, and on the legal bases, set out in this policy.

This data is stripped of personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, email, and IP address before disclosure.
In addition to the specific disclosures of personal data set out in this section, we may disclose your personal data where such disclosure is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which we are subject, or in order to protect your vital interests or the vital interests of another natural person. We may also disclose your personal data where such disclosure is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims, whether in court proceedings or in an administrative or out-of-court procedure.
3. DATA USAGE CHOICES & OPT-OUT
You may opt out of future internal data analysis and third-party model training for any specific purchase or upload by contacting customer[email protected] with your Order Number and Track ID.
Effect of Opt-Out: Upon verification of your request, we will add your content to our internal “Do Not Train” blocklist. This ensures your content will not be included in future training datasets, machine learning models, or third-party licensing batches generated after the date of your request.
Limitations on Opt-Out: Please note that an opt-out request applies only to future data processing and licensing activities. We cannot revoke, retrieve, or delete data that has:
Already been included in a dataset delivered to a third-party technology partner prior to your request.
Already been ingested into a trained machine learning model, vector index, or AI system where the data cannot be isolated or reversed (“Model Weights”).
By using the Platform, you acknowledge that once data is licensed and delivered to third parties or baked into a model, that specific usage is irrevocable. Your opt-out ensures your data will not be included in new versions, updates, or future licensing deals.
4. Biometric Information and Voice Data
To the extent that uploaded content contains human vocal recordings, we may collect and process data that could be considered “Biometric Identifiers” (such as voiceprints or voice timbre analysis) under applicable laws like the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA) or California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
How we use it: We use this data solely to train generalized or blended audio models (e.g., “Pop Vocalist Model”). We do not use this data to identify individuals or create non-consensual “Deepfakes” or identity clones.
Retention & Deletion: We retain this data only as long as necessary for the development of our technology or as required by law. Users may request the deletion of their biometric data from our active training pipeline by contacting us, subject to the rights retained in any sold or licensed tracks.
5. International Data Transfers
We and our other group companies have offices and facilities in the United States of America. The European Commission has made an “adequacy decision” with respect to the data protection laws of each of these countries. Transfers to United States of America will be protected by appropriate safeguards, namely the use of standard data protection clauses adopted or approved by the European Commission.
You acknowledge that personal data that you submit for publication through our website or services may be available, via the internet, around the world. We cannot prevent the use (or misuse) of such personal data by others.
Retaining and deleting personal data Personal data that we process for any purpose or purposes shall not be kept for longer than is necessary for that purpose or those purposes. We may retain your personal data where such retention is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which we are subject, or in order to protect your vital interests or the vital interests of another natural person.
6. Tracking Policy
We use mouse-tracking technologies. These technologies may be used in analyzing trends, administering the Website, tracking Users’ movements around the Websites and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole. We may receive reports based on the use of these technologies by such companies on an individual as well as aggregated basis. While EDM GP respects the privacy of our users, we are not able to respond to Do Not Track signals set by User’s browser at this time.
